The Prescott Flycasters' sole purpose is to promote fly fishing and all activities that make up the sport/art of fly fishing. The flycasters meet the second Tuesday of the month at the Smoki Museum in Prescott, Arizona. We develop numerous fishing trips during the year, culminating with the annual White Mountains Outing. Expenses for the trips are the responsibility of those participating. Annual membership dues are $15. The club uses these funds to pay for operational expenses incurred during the year.

Dear Flycasters-
My name is Jason Meszaros and I am the current president of the Prescott Flycasters Club. I hope that this email finds you in good health and good spirits. Please allow me to borrow some of your time as it is important that I let you know of some VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
Over the years the Prescott Flycasters has been graced with many members that have made it possible for the club to continue on with it's purpose.....to promote fly fishing and all activities that make up the sport/art of fly fishing.
As the years have gone by many members have come and gone on to other places or just "been busy" with other interests in their lives. Our member phone/email list has grown and grown....and grown, while the numbers of active participating (with dues paid) members have decreased. The purpose of this email is to begin the process of consolidating our phone/email list, to encourage our members to pay this year's membership dues in a timely manner, as wel as to increase member participation for 2010.
On behalf of the Club I would like to request the following:
A. 1. Please respond to this email if you are still an active member and would still wish to receive emails regarding the club's activities. If you could also provide us with an updated phone number, that would be great. I really appreciate your attendance and participation over the last year. Thank You!
2. I strongly encourage you all to pay your dues at the next meeting (February 9th, 2010). People that pay their dues for 2010 before April 30th will get a $5 discount off of the normal $15 membership fee (or $5 off of the $25 family membership fee). After April 30th, 2010 the membership fees will go back to their normal rates. After April 30th, ANY unpaid members will be removed from our contact list of participating members. Hopefully this will give folks the incentive to pay their dues in a timely fashion. Obviously you can re-join at any time by paying your dues for 2010. Membership dues paid in 2010 are only good through December 2010, not for one year from the date of payment. See below for additional information on how to pay your dues for 2010.
B. For the many folks that have NOT been attending meetings, outings, and other events regularly over the past several years.
1. First of all I would like to say that we miss you and we would really like to see you this year at some of our meetings, outings, and events. I am personally interested in learning the various reasons as to why you have not been active in the club's activities. Please take the time to tell me if you wish, as your input on how to improve the Club would be greatly appreciated.
2. Secondly, if you are no longer living in the area and/or no longer wish to be a participating member, please respond to this email indicating that this is the case. We will then remove you from the contact list. Obviously, you can re-join at any time by paying your dues for 2010. Please bare in mind that any members on our list that fail to respond to this email and/or pay their dues by April 30th, 2010 will also be removed from the contact list. Those removed from the list after the April 30th cut-off date may re-join at any time by paying $15 per flycaster or $25 for a family membership. How to pay your dues for 2010
1. Pay your dues at one of our meetings. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY THE PREFERRED METHOD. Cash or Check. See you then!
2. Pay your dues at Manzanita Outdoor in Prescott between Sunday and Thursday. Please, call ahead to make sure that I am there (928-778-0980). Make sure you give the money to me personally as Manzanita Outdoor will NOT be held responsible for your payment. I am usually there Sunday through Thursday, but my schedule can change occasionally.
3. Pay your dues through the mail by check only. Please do not send cash. Also, please include a note containing your contact information [name(s), email, phone number] and the dollar amount you are including.
