Howdy, folks!

I am looking to sell some fly gear that I haven't used since I moved here -- basically, my big Potomac River bass rod/reel & my itty-bitty Shenandoah Mountain brookie rod.

Before I put 'em up on Ebay or the Prescott CraigsList, I wanted to see if there were other local places to buy/sell gear, or if the local club has any sort of a swap meet upcoming.

The surplus gear is good enough, workmanlike stuff: a nearly new Loomis GL3 8wt/9' four-piece travel rod (a warranty replacement for a similar Loomis rod that I'd fished to death & split out a ferrule; this one I've probably used only two or three times). The reel is an Orvis Battenkill 8/9 disc drag from the early '90s with Sci-Anglers Mastery 8wt floating line on it & a spare spool with a Cortland 8wt sink-tip line.

The little rod is a 2wt/6.5' that I really liked for tight, rhododendron-choked brookie streams in the Blue Ridge & Shenandoah. It's a homebuilt rod (nicely built by someone else) on an Orvis Graphite blank; I picked it up at a Northern Virginia Trout Unlimited swap sale in the late '80s/early '90s. The reel with that one is a Cortland Crown II with a Wulff 2/3wt line on it.
