{click me} Mendy has posted a club outing notice for....... Thursday APRIL 17TH!!!!! Our club has had outings in the past at Gold Bar Ranch and it has been a delightful day of catching bluegill and bass. The lake has ample shore fishing; however, paddle boats, row boats, and float tubes make for easier fishing. The cost is $17.00 per person and includes fishing ($10) and lunch ($7). The lunch is amazing beacause the burgers are HUGE!! Directions to the ranch can be found at the website http://www.goldbarranchbb.com/map.html Please contact me ASAP so I can get an accurate head count for the trip!
Thanks, Mendy
Call: (928) 778 7727, or email: emendenhall@cableone.com ALSO: $Money$ for the outing ($17) can be taken to Lynx Creek Unlimited and given to Jason.

Roy Griffith will once again be preparing his award-winning breakfasts from 9-11am (Prescott Flycasters voted this the "Best Breakfast at JD Dam - 2006-2007"). Roy reports that the lake is full so the fishing should be good. Look for his big, white trailer. There is plenty of water to fish and places to camp overnight. Come for the breakfast and stay for the fishing! For more details, contact Roy at 759-2366 or email at rygarts@cs.com. He'll need a headcount to plan how much food to buy!!!

Chevelon Lake/Creek Spring Adventure:
I am planning to do some fishing in the Chevelon Creek area (Mogollon Rim) once the snow melts. I have read that early spring can be an excellent time to fish the lake and the stream near the lake. Rainbows will be running up to spawn and the browns supposedly follow them up. There are some huge fish in this stream/lake system. I plan on making a recon-trip up that way to check out the conditions. If the conditions are good I plan on making a trip back for a couple days. The canyon is pretty rugged and requires some hiking to get to the good fishing areas. If anybody is interested in making a trip up there with me, let me know. It would be great to get a group of 5 to 10 people to go out there and camp for a few days. If you have questions give me a call or click on the webmaster link below to send me an email.
P.s. Having a small kayak, pontoon, or float tube would be helpful to fish the lake effectively.
